A set of 4 aluminum platen gauges machined to .958" inches for leveling platens on letterpress printing equipment. These gauges are locked into your chase like regular type, and are not magnetic so they will work on aluminum and cast iron presses.

To use:

Step 1: Lock up the four gauges into your chase on the outside edges.

Step 2: Remove all packing from your platen.

Step 3: Close the platen and adjust impression screws until you have contact and even pressure in all corners.

Step 4: Repack your press with .040" worth of packing.

If you would like to return a Stark Press Company product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with your order number and the reason for returning it. We will respond as quickly as possible with instructions on how to ship your item back.

Items that are damaged during shipping need to be noted with the shipping company or your shipment must be refused. All damaged items need to be reported to Stark Press Company within 48 hours of receiving your package.

All shipping rates are based on weight, package dimensions, distance and crating materials when necessary.
